Somewhere

This is a speculative fiction ezine I co-designed for my final project at Concordia. As a fiction writer, I spend a lot of time on these sorts of sites, and was inspired to make an ezine that could be a home to my favourite kinds of stories. I focused on including things from other ezine sites I really appreciated (easy navigation, advice pages) while changing or excluding what I found frustrating. I created the project on Wix, starting with template and altering it to get the tone and effect I wanted for the ezine. I used a dark colour palette to keep the tone mysterious and slightly scary while also using white text to keep the site readable. Animation effects and graphics added elements of fun and surprise.
